 | Mehret Worku is an Operation Coordinator at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She earned her BA in Public Health from University of Colorado and MBA in Healthcare Administration, Regis University. She is married and has two beautiful girls. “As an immigrant in the US and taking advantage of all the opportunities that are offered to better our lives was something I do not take for granted, however, my mind and heart has always been back home (Ethiopia), thinking about how I can give back to my country that raised me, and makes the person I am today. That is why I am very passionate about the “Our Vision for Ethiopia” organization and privileged to be part of. I vision to see a prosperous Ethiopia with far less health disparities, and high quality of care. I vision women and kids will no longer be victims of social stigma; rather, empowered and having easy access for better education, and health care; and thriving for success.“ |
