 | Dr. Roman Ayele is a health research scientist at the Veterans Health Administration. She received a bachelor’s and a master’s degrees from University of Wisconsin-Madison, before she completed her doctorate at the Colorado School of Public Health. Dr. Ayele has worked in global health prior to pursuing her PhD. In addition to her work, She enjoys time with her husband and their three boys, hiking (CO mountains), jump roping and cooking (mostly Ethiopian Dishes). “I believe in giving back to my community where I was born and raised, especially after seeing many opportunities for improving gaps in care for vulnerable children and their families. Being part of Our Vison for Ethiopia organization allows me to continue to contribute in in a meaningful way to a community that shaped me” |
