Abigail Gichile graduated from Lesley University with a Biology major and minors in Health and Global Studies. She is pursuing her master’s in Public Health and Informatics. Abigail has done volunteer work in Ethiopia and has experience in working at Boston Medical Center, pediatrics department and Bright Horizons School for Early Education in Massachusetts. She is now working with different organizations in Ethiopia and the DMV area in Health Care and Educational Institutions.
“From such a young age, I’ve always wanted to move back home and work in Health Care and be part of creating a system where people can easily get access to health care. After working and seeing the health care access in the U.S., it motivated me to create something similar for Ethiopia.”
