 | Hanny graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School with a Master of Public Health. She has a great interest in working in global health and health promotion. She currently works with the Institute for Public Health Innovation in their COVID-19 response team in Fairfax, Virginia. “I was born and raised in Ethiopia, and it will always have a special place in my heart. I believe my experience living in Ethiopia contributes a great deal to my passion for working in global health. I am very excited to be part of the junior team as this will give me a real chance to be part of a great cause. We must address these disparities as they determine the health of the next generation. Living in Ethiopia for most of my life, I have had the chance to see the health disparity among mothers and children in Ethiopia, especially in rural areas. It is truly a pleasure being part of a team that is dedicated to addressing maternal and child health disparity in Ethiopia.” |
