Having seen how the healthcare system operates while growing up as well as continuing to see every time I go back to Ethiopia to volunteer; however, the healthcare system and its disparities are very frustrating. Therefore, it has become my mission to contribute to the bettering of the healthcare system in countries like Ethiopia. As a result, my career goals are reflections of the experiences I have had with the healthcare system and its immediate need for progress. Ethiopia will always be my home so I will always care for Ethiopia. Being part of “Our Vision for Ethiopia” allows me to do exactly that.” |
